Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Parade will return on Sunday, March 20, 2022 (depending on the continued Ontario government’s reopening plan).
When COVID-19 restrictions were announced in March 2020, Toronto St. Patrick’s Parade was among the first to cancel its event. The parade was cancelled once again in 2021.
Following the rollout of vaccinations across the province and the recent reopening plans announced by the Ontario government, Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Parade returns for its annual celebration.
The parade will begin at the corner of St. George and Bloor Street West at 12 pm and proceed down Yonge Street, turning left towards the review stand at Nathan Phillips Square.
We look forward to seeing everyone return to celebrate one of the largest community events in Toronto and the largest Irish event in Canada.
Health
The St. Patrick’s Parade Society would like to extend our support and appreciation to all of the healthcare workers who have put themselves in danger in the service of others who are sick. In that spirit, we would ask all attendees of our events to follow the guidelines outlined by the municipal, provincial and federal authorities in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
These include:
- Physical distancing — please keep 2 metres apart from other people
- Wearing a facemask — this is especially important if you find yourself in a situation where you can’t physically distance from others
- Maintaining healthy habits — wash your hands with soap and water and take advantage of hand sanitizer available at our events
